Client Relationship Manager
Summary
· Identify clients benefit objectives.
· Agree and implement a client service plan and annual timetable of visits appropriate to the size and complexity of the client, to build commitment, develop relationships and review our performance.
· Implement, monitor and control consulting projects, including renewal/re-broking activities. Advise upon changes in perceived risk exposures and relevant legislative changes.
· Review with appropriate associates at the earliest opportunity, any case under threat or where perceived vulnerable and implement, monitor and oversee a plan of action.
· Maintain income to at least budgeted levels and in line with set and agreed personal objectives. Identify and progress new business leads.
. Oversee delivery of client management information and relevant commentary.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in Employee Benefits, Medical, or Life insurance broking
- Proven experience managing mid-to-large corporate accounts
- Experience handling renewals, re-broking, and consulting projects
- Exposure to claims analysis and insurer negotiations
- Strong understanding of general insurance principles and legal frameworks
- Knowledge of insurer rating methodologies (Medical / Life preferred)
- Understanding of cash collection processes, client invoicing, and insurance accounting
- Ability to analyse risk exposure and advise on legislative changes
- Knowledge of risk management concepts and their practical application
- Ability to develop and implement structured client service plans
- Strong relationship management and stakeholder coordination skills
- Experience preparing broking/renewal presentations
- Ability to monitor income targets and identify business development opportunities
- Experience managing vulnerable or at-risk accounts
