QC Senior Engineer
We are seeking a QC SR Engineer (Mechanical & Electrical) to join Oil & Gas project teams. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in quality control, particularly in welding, NDT, and coating/painting, along with strong inspection, supervision, and reporting capabilities. This role requires professionals who can ensure compliance with international standards and project specifications.
- Perform and supervise quality control inspections for mechanical and electrical works.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and international standards.
- Conduct and review inspections related to welding, NDT (RT, UT, MT, PT), and coating/painting activities.
- Coordinate with contractors, inspectors, and project teams to maintain quality standards.
- Review and approve inspection reports, test results, and QA/QC documentation.
- Identify non-conformities and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
- Support and participate in internal and external quality audits.
- Provide regular quality reports to project management.
Requirements
- Minimum 15 years of experience in Oil & Gas projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, Electrical, or a relevant engineering discipline.
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification.
- ASNT Level II certification in RT, UT, MT, and PT.
- CSWIP 3.2, AWS-CWI, or equivalent certification approved by the company.
- Strong expertise in welding, NDT, and coating/painting processes.
- Excellent supervisory, coordination, and reporting skills.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Candidates must demonstrate strong field experience and the ability to work in demanding project environments.
