Factory Manager

Summary

We are seeking a hands-on, shop-floor-focused Factory Manager to lead all aspects of factory operations at our new Abu Dhabi tax stamps production site. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience running a factory, preferably in security printing or high-security manufacturing, and will be deeply involved in planning, order management, procurement, production, quality, and logistics. This is not a desk job — we’re looking for someone who thrives on the shop floor, leads by example, and drives operational excellence through LEAN principles, ERP (SAP) mastery, and strong interpersonal leadership.

Oversee production planning, ensuring alignment with customer demand and operational capacity.

Manage Procurement activities, order processing and fulfillment, coordinating across departments to ensure timely delivery.

Lead daily factory operations, maintaining optimal production flow and resolving bottlenecks.

Ensure quality control standards are met and continuously improved.

Supervise logistics and inventory, optimizing material flow and warehouse operations.

Be a visible leader on the shop floor, coaching teams and solving problems in real time.

Drive LEAN manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.

Utilize ERP systems (preferably SAP) for tracking, reporting, and decision-making.

Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions to improve performance.

Ensure compliance with security, safety, and regulatory standards

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience managing factory operations, ideally in security printing, packaging, or regulated manufacturing.
• Strong expertise in planning, order management, production, quality, and logistics.
• Proven experience with LEAN methodologies and continuous improvement.
• Proficient in ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Highly hands-on, with a strong presence on the shop floor.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Experience in the UAE or GCC region is an advantage.
• Strategic mindset with hands-on problem-solving capability.
• Culturally aware, adaptable, and comfortable working across multiple jurisdictions. Language Skills:
• Written and spoken English is essential. Arabic is a plus
