Senior Specialist - Data Project Management

Summary

Responsible for end-to-end planning, coordination, and delivery of software projects across multiple tracks, including routine enhancements and complex cross-functional programs. Ensures project plans are maintained, progress tracked, risks managed, and stakeholders updated.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, schedule, and manage software development and delivery using Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
• Track progress, manage risks and issues, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Coordinate internal teams and external vendors for smooth project execution.
• Maintain JIRA tracking and project documentation in line with policies.
• Support audit activities and ensure compliance with organizational standards.

Reporting:

Reports to the relevant line manager or designated authority.

Requirements

Education & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related technical field
• Proficient in English
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Influencing and negotiation skills

Experience & Knowledge:

• 8+ years of project management experience
• Experience with Waterfall and Agile methodologies for software delivery
• Strong strategic thinking and business acumen, able to align corporate strategies with project objectives

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree or specialization in Computer Science or Software Engineering
• Proficient in Arabic
• Industry certifications such as PMP, Prince2, or Scrum Master
• Experience leading complex Fintech projects
• Experience leading digital, ERP, or CRM initiatives
• Experience working in consulting
