We are seeking a skilled Draftsman to prepare accurate technical and construction drawings using AutoCAD. The role involves developing, modifying, and maintaining drawings while coordinating with engineering and project teams. Experience in the construction industry is required, and MEP drafting experience is preferred. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and knowledge of construction drawings are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, develop, and revise technical drawings using AutoCAD.
Produce detailed construction drawings based on engineering designs, specifications, and site requirements.
Coordinate drawings with engineering, construction, and project teams.
Prepare layouts, sections, details, and as-built drawings as required.
Review drawings for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with project requirements.
Incorporate revisions and updates based on engineering or site instructions.
Maintain proper documentation and drawing records throughout the project.
Support the project team with drafting and technical documentation requirements.
Coordinate with MEP disciplines where applicable.
Ensure drawings are completed accurately and within project deadlines.
Requirements
Diploma, certificate, or relevant qualification in Drafting, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Draftsman within the construction industry.
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
Good understanding of construction drawings, layouts, and technical documentation.
MEP drafting experience is preferred.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good coordination and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively with engineers, project teams, and site personnel.
Willingness to work in Saudi Arabia (KSA) and adapt to project/site requirements.
