Finance Manager - Iraqi Leadership.

• Lead and manage the finance function across entities and projects.
• Ensure financial governance, reporting, compliance, and alignment with IFRS and company standards.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, working capital, cash management, and financial planning.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to HQ, partners, and authorities.
• Manage financial relationships with partners and authorities, including JV reporting and cost recovery.
• Lead financial audits and maximize cost recovery opportunities.
• Provide strategic financial analysis and recommendations to senior management.
• Coordinate with Projects, Operations, and HQ to achieve financial and business targets.
• Drive continuous improvement, strong internal controls, and best practices across the finance function.
• Advise leadership on financial performance, risks, and business decisions.
• Ensure ethical financial practices, compliance, confidentiality, and appropriate handling of sensitive financial information.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or an equivalent field.
• 20+ years of experience, including senior finance leadership roles.
• Strong expertise in financial management, IFRS, governance, compliance, and internal controls.
• Proven experience in large-scale project finance and Joint Venture (JV) environments.
• Strong knowledge of audit, compliance, and financial control frameworks.
• Proven executive leadership and team management capabilities, with a high level of confidentiality.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders internally and externally.
• Experience in multinational organizations or major industrial projects.
• Ability to operate effectively in multi-partner and multi-country environments.
• Fluent in English and Arabic (mandatory); French is an advantage.
