We are seeking an experienced Logistics Executive to support procurement and logistics operations within the Oil & Gas, EPC, Engineering, or Construction industry. The role involves RFQ preparation, supplier negotiations, bid evaluations, purchase order processing, customs clearance, and import/export documentation. The ideal candidate should have 3–5 years of relevant experience, knowledge of GCC and international freight operations, and any ERP and MS Excel skills.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate procurement and logistics activities to ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and supplies.
Prepare and issue Requests for Quotations (RFQs) to suppliers and vendors.
Negotiate with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing, favorable terms, and delivery schedules.
Evaluate supplier quotations, conduct bid comparisons, and support vendor selection.
Process purchase orders (POs) and follow up on order confirmations and deliveries.
Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping agents, and customs authorities.
Manage UAE customs clearance procedures and ensure accurate import/export documentation.
Handle GCC cross-border shipments and international freight operations.
Monitor shipment schedules, track deliveries, and resolve logistics-related issues.
Ensure compliance with applicable customs regulations, trade requirements, and company procedures.
Maintain accurate procurement, shipping, and logistics records using ERP systems and MS Excel.
Coordinate with internal departments to ensure materials and equipment are delivered according to project requirements.
Monitor logistics costs and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
Requirements
3–5 years of relevant procurement and logistics experience.
Strong experience in the Oil & Gas, EPC, Engineering, or Construction industry.
Hands-on experience in RFQ preparation, supplier negotiations, bid evaluation, and purchase order processing.
Practical knowledge of UAE customs clearance procedures and import/export documentation.
Experience handling GCC cross-border shipments and international freight operations.
Good working knowledge of any ERP systems and MS Excel is preferred.
Strong coordination, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple procurement and logistics activities while meeting deadlines.
Good understanding of shipping documentation, freight coordination, and supply chain processes.
