We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Planning Engineer with strong expertise in Primavera P6 to support planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting activities for EPC, construction, and infrastructure projects. The candidate will be responsible for developing project schedules, tracking progress, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring timely project delivery in accordance with project objectives and DCP requirements.
Prepare, develop, and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6
Develop baseline schedules, work breakdown structures (WBS), and project timelines
Monitor project progress and update schedules regularly
Analyze project delays, critical paths, and recovery plans
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and site teams
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports
Track manpower, equipment, and material progress against schedules
Conduct schedule risk analysis and recommend corrective actions
Support tender planning and resource loading activities
Ensure compliance with project milestones, contractual requirements, and DCP standards
Participate in project review meetings and provide planning updates
Prepare look-ahead schedules and progress measurement reports
Review subcontractor schedules and monitor performance
Assist in claims preparation, extension of time (EOT), and delay analysis when required
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
3–7 years of experience as a Planning Engineer in EPC, construction, or infrastructure projects
Strong hands-on experience with Primavera P6
Experience in large-scale infrastructure or EPC projects
Good understanding of project planning, scheduling, and cost control
Knowledge of DCP procedures and project coordination processes
Strong analytical and reporting skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and project reporting tools
Ability to interpret drawings, BOQs, and project specifications
Good communication and coordination skills
Familiarity with project control and earned value management (EVM)
Knowledge of construction sequencing and resource planning
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Experience with delay analysis and claims support
Understanding of procurement and construction workflows
