Site Manager Services

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all PV construction activities to ensure safe, timely, and efficient project execution.
• Manage day-to-day site operations and coordinate construction activities across civil, mechanical, electrical, and commissioning disciplines.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, procedures, and contractual requirements.
• Drive adherence to HSE standards, promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring all works are executed in compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor construction progress against approved schedules and implement corrective actions to mitigate delays and maintain project milestones.
• Coordinate and manage EPC contractors, subcontractors, and site resources to optimize productivity and performance.
• Review and validate construction methodologies, work plans, and resource deployment strategies.
• Lead daily, weekly, and monthly site coordination meetings and communicate project priorities to all stakeholders.
• Ensure effective interface management between Construction, Engineering, HSE, QA/QC, Commissioning, Logistics, and Project Control teams.
• Oversee quality compliance and ensure construction activities are executed in accordance with approved quality standards and inspection requirements.
• Identify project risks, construction constraints, and technical issues, and develop appropriate mitigation and recovery plans.
• Review contractor performance, manpower levels, equipment utilization, and site productivity to ensure contractual obligations are achieved.
• Support project reporting by providing accurate updates on progress, risks, resource requirements, and key site achievements.
• Represent the project during site audits, inspections, management visits, and stakeholder meetings.
• Maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support successful project delivery.
• Accountable for achieving construction milestones while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and operational excellence.
• Strong knowledge of utility-scale Solar PV construction and installation.
• Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
• EPC and contractor management experience.
• Construction planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring.
• Risk management and problem-solving skills.
• Strong understanding of HSE management systems and quality assurance processes.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and fast-paced project environment.
• Strong decision-making capability with a results-oriented mindset.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in construction, energy, infrastructure, or industrial projects.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a Site Manager, Construction Manager, or equivalent leadership role.
• Demonstrated experience managing large multidisciplinary construction teams and contractors.
• Previous experience on utility-scale Solar PV projects is highly desirable.
• Experience working in remote construction sites and complex project environments is preferred.
