We are seeking Contracts Manger that is responsible for managing day-to-day contractual matters across assigned EPC projects from contract award through execution and close-out. The role ensures effective contract administration in accordance with agreed terms, protection of contractual rights, timely management of variations and claims, and provision of clear contractual guidance to project teams throughout project delivery.
Contract Administration
Administer main contracts, subcontracts, and consultancy agreements in accordance with contract conditions
Review contract clauses and advise Project and Commercial teams on obligations, risks, and entitlements
Ensure all contractual notices and correspondence are issued within required timelines
Maintain accurate, complete, and well-organized contract records, correspondence logs, and approvals within company systems
Tender & Pre-Award Support
Review tender documents and identify key contractual risks and obligations prior to submission
Assist in preparing contractual qualifications, exclusions, and clarifications
Support contract negotiations and finalization as directed by management
Variations, Claims & Extension of Time (EOT)
Prepare and manage variation submissions, EOT claims, and associated contractual notices
Support Project Managers in developing claim documentation and contractual justifications
Coordinate with Planning and Commercial teams to align claims with programme updates and cost records
Track and monitor claim submissions, responses, approvals, and outstanding contractual actions
Payment & Commercial Support
Support contractual review of subcontractor variations, interim payments, and final accounts
Monitor payment timelines and assist in managing contractual correspondence related to delayed or disputed payments
Support cash flow protection through effective contract administration and follow-up actions
Dispute Avoidance & Contractual Compliance
Identify contractual risks early and support resolution through proper documentation and timely communication
Assist in preparing contractual records for dispute resolution or legal review when required
Ensure all project activities and correspondence comply with contract provisions
Coordination & Reporting
Coordinate with Project, Commercial, Planning, Procurement, and Legal teams on contractual matters
Attend project meetings to provide contractual input on variations, delays, and risk areas
Prepare clear and concise contractual status reports highlighting key issues, risks, and required actions
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent from a recognized four-year college or university
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in contracts or commercial roles within EPC or construction projects
Strong working knowledge of contract administration, variations, claims, and EOT processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and contract management systems
Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills
Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary project teams and manage multiple priorities
