Head of Contracts Management Iraqi Leadership

• Lead contract management strategy, governance, and the full contract lifecycle.
• Manage high-value negotiations, contract awards, amendments, claims, and disputes.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, contractual, and company requirements.
• Advise stakeholders on contractual risks, opportunities, and commercial matters.
• Drive cost optimization, value creation, and continuous performance improvement.
• Manage relationships with key suppliers, partners, contractors, and authorities.
• Lead and develop a high-performing contract management team.
• Ensure HSE requirements, confidentiality, and risk management are integrated into all contractual activities.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Law, Engineering, Business, or an equivalent field
• Minimum 15 years of experience in contract management
• Strong expertise in contract management, procurement, and legal frameworks
• Proven experience managing complex industrial contracts and project environments
• Strong ability to manage risks, claims, and disputes
• Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
• Ability to manage complex stakeholder environments
• Strong leadership and team development capabilities
• Experience in multinational organizations or large-scale project environments
• Strong knowledge of international contracting standards
• Fluent in English and Arabic (mandatory)
• French is an advantage
