Joint Ventures Coordination Manager Iraqi Leadership

• Lead JV governance and coordination, including OPCOM, JMC, and subcommittees.
• Ensure contractual compliance and delivery of key milestones, WP&Bs, development plans, and approvals.
• Oversee JV agreements, audits, cost recovery, and protection of company interests.
• Manage engagement with partners, NOCs, ministries, regulators, and international stakeholders.
• Support commercial negotiations and dispute resolution with legal and business teams.
• Provide decision-ready reporting and recommendations to senior management.
• Lead and develop the JV team, driving effective governance and continuous improvement.
• Operate effectively in a complex, multi-project, multi-partner, and politically sensitive environment.

Requirements

•  Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent.
• 20+ years of experience, including extensive oil & gas and JV exposure.
• Strong expertise in JV governance, petroleum contracts, and commercial frameworks.
• Proven experience in audit management and cost recovery.
• Strong ability to navigate complex contractual and stakeholder environments.
• Excellent negotiation, influencing, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
• High level of autonomy, confidentiality, resilience, and strategic thinking.
• Experience in multinational or international oil & gas environments.
• Ability to work across multiple cultures and governance frameworks.
• Fluent English and Arabic required; French is a plus.
