Procurement Senior Associate-Emirati
We are seeking a Procurement Senior Associate to support the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, ensuring the timely sourcing of goods and services while maintaining compliance with procurement policies, contractual requirements, and organizational standards. The successful candidate will coordinate supplier engagement, competitive bidding activities, contract administration, and procurement reporting while contributing to process improvements and effective stakeholder collaboration.
The Procurement Senior Associate will support procurement activities across the organization, ensuring purchasing processes are delivered efficiently, transparently, and in accordance with internal governance and regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinate and manage RFQ, RFP, and quotation activities, ensuring suppliers submit complete and timely proposals while working closely with internal stakeholders to meet procurement deadlines.
- Facilitate bid opening and evaluation activities in collaboration with business stakeholders and Finance, ensuring procurement procedures are followed and evaluation outcomes are accurately documented.
- Participate in supplier negotiations relating to pricing, commercial terms, and procurement conditions under the guidance of senior procurement leadership where required.
- Prepare vendor selection documentation and approval packages in accordance with delegated authority levels and approved evaluation criteria.
- Monitor the execution of Purchase Orders, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and Contract Agreements to ensure supplier performance and contractual obligations are met.
- Coordinate with Legal and Risk functions to ensure contractual documents include appropriate commercial terms, conditions, compliance requirements, and risk mitigation clauses.
- Manage procurement-related contractual matters by monitoring compliance, following up on outstanding actions, and supporting the resolution of contractual issues or disputes.
- Support periodic procurement risk assessments in collaboration with Procurement leadership and the Risk Management function, ensuring risks are identified and appropriate controls are documented.
- Assist with the development, review, and enhancement of procurement policies, procedures, and operational guidelines while promoting compliance across the organization.
- Maintain complete and accurate procurement records, including purchase requests, purchase orders, contracts, approvals, and supporting documentation to facilitate internal and external audits.
- Identify opportunities to improve procurement systems, workflows, and operational processes to enhance efficiency, service quality, compliance, and cost effectiveness.
- Prepare and maintain regular procurement reports and dashboards, providing updates on purchasing activities, supplier performance, contract status, and key procurement initiatives.

Education & Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related discipline.
- Professional proficiency in English.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Strong negotiation skills.
Preferred
- Professional certification in Procurement or Supply Chain Management (e.g., CIPS, CPSM, CSCP or equivalent).
- Professional proficiency in Arabic.
- Additional procurement or commercial certifications.
Experience & Knowledge
The successful candidate will possess:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Procurement, Purchasing, or Supply Chain Management.
- Practical experience managing supplier relationships and procurement activities.
- Experience within banking, financial services, or another regulated industry is preferred.
- Proficiency with common business applications and procurement systems.
- Good understanding of procurement principles, commercial agreements, contracts, and purchasing governance.
