Senior Planning Engineer

Planning & Scheduling

• Develop and maintain the project baseline and updated schedules in Primavera.
• Build detailed work breakdown structures and resource-loaded schedules for storage tank projects.
• Review contractor and subcontractor schedules and confirm alignment with the master schedule.
• Maintain schedule integrity by managing logic, constraints, and revisions throughout the project lifecycle.

Progress Tracking & Delay Management

• Track progress against the baseline and measure physical progress across engineering, procurement, and construction.
• Analyze delays and identify their root causes and critical path impact.
• Prepare recovery plans and recommend corrective actions to bring the schedule back on track.
• Prepare delay analysis and time impact assessments.

Reporting

• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for management and the client.
• Present schedule status, key milestones, risks, and forecasts to project management.
• Maintain planning records, schedule updates, and supporting documentation.

Coordination & Collaboration

• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to gather accurate progress data.
• Support project managers in planning meetings and in resolving schedule-related issues with stakeholders.

Requirements

• 8+ years of planning experience in EPC projects.
• Strong command of Primavera P6.
• Experience in oil and gas and storage tank projects.
• Previous ADNOC project experience (mandatory).
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or equivalent).
