Site Camp Coordinator

We are seeking a Site Camp Coordinator who will ensure that all activities in the camp (Health, Safety, Security, Environment) comply with Company expectation standards are efficiently implemented with the appropriate camp rules, emergency security plans, drills, and induction.

  • Ensure all camp activities comply with COMPANY Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSE) standards and expectations.
  • Promote TotalEnergies’ HSE culture and enforce applicable Golden Rules.
  • Ensure implementation of camp rules, emergency security plans, emergency drills, and induction processes for all residents and staff.
  • Coordinate with the H2SE Team Focal Point to conduct planned and spot hygiene inspections.
  • Promote effective waste management through regular site visits, audits, and continuous coordination with the H2SE Team Focal Point.
  • Oversee Pioneer Camp operations accommodating approximately 200 personnel.
  • Oversee CONTRACTOR accommodation camp operations accommodating approximately 3,000 personnel.
  • Review CONTRACTOR and Supplier organizational structures to assess their adequacy and effectiveness for the required scope of work.
  • Verify that CONTRACTOR manpower is sufficient and that personnel possess the required discipline, experience, and capabilities.
  • Witness audits conducted by CONTRACTOR on its Suppliers, as required.
  • Coordinate with the H2SE Superintendent to monitor and audit compliance with health and cleanliness requirements, particularly for canteen and medical facilities.
  • Review reports, records, and deliverables submitted by CONTRACTOR for completed works and activities and provide COMPANY approval where required.
  • Monitor camp service performance and establish indicators to ensure CONTRACTOR compliance with required standards.
  • Monitor the maintenance of buildings and equipment.
  • Monitor cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout camp facilities.
  • Ensure the availability of essential services, including water, electricity, and internet.
  • Monitor and ensure that resources are aligned with operational requirements and COMPANY standards.
  • Coordinate with service providers and internal teams to optimize camp operations and service delivery.
  • Coordinate logistics and accommodation arrangements for COMPANY site personnel, approximately 70 personnel plus visitors.
  • Ensure accommodation booking procedures for COMPANY personnel are established and properly followed.
  • Maintain accurate records, including room occupancy and incident records.

Requirements

  • Degree in Management, Facility Management, Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in camp or facility management, preferably within the Oil & Gas industry or large-scale industrial projects.
  • Strong understanding of HSSE standards and compliance requirements.
  • Experience in team coordination and resource management.
  • Estimated site construction man-hours: 15 million.
  • Estimated site workforce: 3,500 personnel.
  • CPF2 COMPANY site team: 70 personnel.
  • Staff managed: Not Applicable.
  • Ensure all camp infrastructure and services meet COMPANY requirements and are properly documented.
  • Ensure comprehensive monitoring of camp operations at COMPANY level.
  • Ensure effective monitoring of CONTRACTOR item management at site.
  • Provide continuous, reliable, and relevant reporting to upper management.
  • Demonstrate exemplary standards in H3SE, stakeholder engagement, and ethical conduct.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality in the performance of assigned duties.
  • Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of camp management software is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of TotalEnergies rules and procedures is considered an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Arabic is considered an advantage.
  • Ability to represent COMPANY effectively in discussions and meetings with CONTRACTORs, Partners, and Authorities.
  • Ability to understand and closely monitor Environmental, Social Performance, and Security requirements as critical aspects of site project execution.
  • Proven ability to work effectively within a team and demonstrate strong leadership.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work effectively in a multicultural and international business environment.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Strong results-oriented mindset.
  • Dedication and ability to work effectively under pressure and demanding conditions.
  • Fluent in English; minimum Bright Test score of 3.5 is mandatory.
