Contract & Procurement Manager Iraqi Leadership

• Define and drive the contract and procurement strategy in alignment with business objectives.
• Lead all procurement and contracting activities across projects and operations.
• Ensure effective execution of the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, including tendering, negotiation, award, and contract execution.
• Oversee supplier strategy, sourcing activities, and contract management frameworks.
• Lead complex negotiations with contractors, suppliers, and strategic partners.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company standards, policies, and ethical principles.
• Manage contract committees and ensure effective governance and decision-making processes.
• Ensure procurement and contracting activities are aligned with project timelines, cost-control targets, and operational priorities.
• Provide strategic input on contract risk management, claims, and dispute resolution.
• Lead, develop, and empower a high-performing, multidisciplinary Contracts & Procurement (C&P) organization.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, Law, or an equivalent field.
• Minimum 20+ years of professional experience, including senior leadership roles in Procurement and Contracts.
• Strong expertise in procurement strategy, contract management, and strategic sourcing.
• Excellent knowledge of complex contractual environments and supplier ecosystems.
• Proven experience in large-scale industrial or energy projects.
• Strong executive leadership capabilities and strategic influence.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to lead large, complex, and multidisciplinary organizations.
• Experience working in multinational environments and complex project ecosystems.
• Ability to operate effectively across multiple stakeholders, functions, and governance frameworks.
• Fluent in English and Arabic (mandatory).
• French language proficiency is an advantage.
