We are seeking a Head of Procurement to lead procurement operations and material supply chain activities in support of safe and compliant operations. The role will oversee sourcing, supplier and contract management, and inventory optimization while promoting HSE standards across suppliers and procurement processes.
Procurement & Supply Chain Leadership
Lead procurement operations and material supply chain activities.
Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with operational and business priorities.
Manage and develop the procurement team, setting objectives and monitoring performance.
Ensure material availability and inventory optimization across operations.
Sourcing, Suppliers & Contracts
Manage sourcing, purchasing, suppliers, and contracts.
Run tenders, bid evaluations, and commercial negotiations to secure favorable terms.
Coordinate with suppliers, technical teams, and stakeholders to meet project and operational requirements.
Monitor supplier performance and address delivery, quality, and compliance issues.
Cost Efficiency & Process Improvement
Drive cost efficiency and procurement improvements.
Improve procurement processes and SAP systems.
Prepare procurement reports, spend analyses, and performance updates for senior management.
Compliance, HSE & Confidentiality
Ensure compliance with procurement policies and HSE standards.
Promote HSE standards across suppliers and procurement processes.
Manage confidentiality of commercial and supplier information.
Requirements
Master's degree or equivalent qualification.
Minimum of 15 years of experience in procurement and supply chain management.
Strong expertise in procurement, material management, and supply chain optimization.
Proficiency in SAP and procurement systems.
Experience in industrial or project environments, preferably in the oil and gas sector.
Strong leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to perform effectively in complex, fast-paced environments.
Experience working in multinational organizations.
Fluent in English and Arabic (mandatory); French is an advantage.
