HSE Manager - Iraqi Leadership

• Define and drive the HSE strategy, governance framework, and management systems.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, corporate, and international HSE standards.
• Lead risk identification, mitigation, process safety, incident investigations, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee emergency response, crisis preparedness, and operational safety.
• Promote a strong safety culture and monitor HSE performance through KPIs.
• Interface with partners, contractors, authorities, HQ, and senior stakeholders.
• Lead HSE organization development, talent management, and Iraqization initiatives.
• Ensure full accountability for health, safety, environmental, and sustainability performance.
• Manage sensitive incident, risk, and regulatory information with strict confidentiality.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Engineering or an equivalent field.
• 20+ years of HSE experience in Oil & Gas or large-scale industrial projects.
• Strong expertise in HSE management systems, process safety, and risk management.
• Proven experience in HAZID, HAZOP, risk assessment, and incident management.
• Good knowledge of environmental and sustainability frameworks.
• Strong executive leadership, influencing, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to operate effectively in high-risk and complex environments.
• Experience in large-scale multinational projects and international HSE standards.
• Fluent in English and Arabic (mandatory); French is an advantage.
