Senior Mechanical Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise mechanical works on construction and infrastructure projects.
• Oversee the design, installation, and testing of mechanical network systems.
• Review drawings, specifications, and material submittals.
• Guide site engineers and technicians in the execution of mechanical works.

Coordination & Quality

• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and other project disciplines.
• Ensure work meets quality, safety, and project schedule requirements.
• Attend project meetings and site inspections to resolve technical issues.
• Monitor site progress against the project program and flag potential delays.

Technical Review & Compliance

• Check installed works against approved drawings and applicable authority requirements.
• Witness testing and commissioning activities and verify the results.
• Review contractor method statements and technical submissions.

Reporting & Handover

• Prepare progress reports.
• Support project handover.
• Compile as-built drawings, test records, and closeout documentation.

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction and infrastructure projects.
• Hands-on experience with network systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• DCP preferred but not mandatory.
