Senior Medical Officer Iraqi Leadership

•  Provide clinical care and medical supervision, including 24/7 medical coverage.
• Lead and support emergency response activities and medical evacuations (MEDEVAC).
• Ensure effective implementation of occupational health programs, policies, and procedures.
• Oversee medical facility readiness, equipment, and emergency preparedness.
• Ensure accurate medical reporting, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and implement medical protocols, procedures, and clinical governance practices.
• Contribute to health risk assessments, disease prevention, and employee health programs.
• Deliver medical training, including first aid, emergency response, and health awareness.
• Support site inspections and HSE health-related initiatives.
• Coordinate with local hospitals, medical authorities, emergency services, and healthcare providers.

Requirements

• Medical Doctor (MD) with a valid medical license.
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in emergency, occupational, or remote medicine.
• Strong expertise in emergency medicine and site medical operations.
• Proven experience in MEDEVAC coordination and crisis response.
• Good knowledge of occupational health and public health practices.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills under pressure.
• High level of resilience, adaptability, and ability to work in challenging environments.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and team coordination skills.
• Experience working in remote, industrial, or high-risk environments.
• Exposure to international medical standards, protocols, and practices.
• Fluent in English and Arabic (mandatory).
• French language proficiency is an advantage.
